AD Vantage Empowers Young Women Entrepreneurs Through Strategic Ground Activation

“Going to School” is a pioneering NGO driving educational reform for young women in underserved communities. Its flagship initiative, the Youth Venture Fund, supports young women entrepreneurs with business ideas that address climate change, merging empowerment with environmental sustainability.

About the Campaign

AD Vantage executed a ground activation campaign to enroll young women into the Youth Venture Fund’s 100-day B-School Program. This unique program targets women aged 18–25 from low-income families in Bengaluru, offering hands-on learning in real-world environments such as marketplaces, enterprises, and manufacturing units, under the mentorship of experienced B-School professors.

Campaign Objective

The campaign aimed to register 500–1000 young women for the B-School program by March 13, 2023, enabling them to access this exceptional educational and entrepreneurial opportunity.

Target Audience

  • Young women aged 18–25 from low-income families
  • Residents of slums and underprivileged areas of Bengaluru
  • Aspiring entrepreneurs interested in sustainable business solutions

Challenges

  • Reaching women in underserved and scattered communities
  • Effectively communicating the benefits of the B-School program
  • Identifying candidates with genuine interest in entrepreneurship and climate action

Strategic Approach

  • On-Ground Promoters: Five teams of 2–3 promoters were deployed to government colleges and slum areas across Bengaluru.
  • Local Guides Partnership: Guides helped navigate communities, ensuring teams could connect with potential participants effectively.
  • Telecalling Support: A dedicated team verified registrations, streamlining the enrollment process and ensuring accuracy.

Solution

By combining community insights, local partnerships, and targeted outreach, AD Vantage facilitated direct engagement with young women and effectively communicated the program’s value. Door-to-door interactions, college visits, and marketplace engagement ensured wide coverage and genuine interest from participants.

Execution

  • Campaign rollout focused on high-priority neighborhoods and educational institutions.
  • Promoters guided participants through the registration process and explained program benefits.
  • Telecalling teams followed up to confirm enrollments, ensuring a seamless and efficient registration experience.

Outcome

  • Target Achieved: The campaign successfully met its registration goal within the specified timeframe.
  • Meaningful Impact: Young women from underserved communities gained access to an empowering educational opportunity.
  • Enhanced Engagement: Leveraging local knowledge and on-ground strategies ensured genuine participation from motivated candidates.
